Introducing BarakahPay: every pound your mosque raises, in one ledger
Why we built a transparent, software-first giving platform for UK mosques — and what we do differently on pricing, Gift Aid, GASDS and your data.

UK mosques raise money everywhere: a kiosk in the lobby, a QR poster by the door, an online appeal, standing orders, and — still, above all — cash on a Friday. Almost none of that ends up in one place. Gift Aid is claimed late or not at all, and GASDS, the 25% top-up on small cash donations, goes almost entirely unclaimed across the sector.
BarakahPay exists to fix the money layer. One ledger for every channel, with Gift Aid and GASDS tracked on every single pound and the HMRC claim built for you.
What we believe
- Pricing belongs on the website. Ours is public, permanent, and per mosque — never per device. See it here.
- We never touch the money. Donations settle directly into your mosque's own account via Stripe. We are software, not a middleman holding funds.
- Your data is yours. Donor and Gift Aid records belong to your mosque, with full export available at all times — a commitment written into our terms, not just this blog.
- Cash counts. The sector's platforms ignore cash because it doesn't pass through them. Our cash logger and GASDS engine treat Friday collections as first-class income.
What ships today
Hosted giving pages for mosques without websites, campaigns with live thermometers, QR codes per campaign, kiosk mode that runs on any tablet, a compliant Gift Aid engine with returning-donor recognition, the GASDS cash logger, Ramadan giving automation with last-ten-nights scheduling, and instant email receipts.
If you sit on a mosque committee and any of this sounds like your Tuesday-evening problem, you can create an account and take your first donation in under an hour — or start with our free guides to Gift Aid and GASDS. They're useful whichever platform you use.
