- 1
Create your account
Sign up with an email address, add your mosque's name and charity number. No demo calls, no sales pipeline, no card details.
- 2
Connect payouts with Stripe
A guided Stripe onboarding verifies your charity and links your mosque's own bank account. Donations settle directly to you — never through us.
- 3
Take your first donation
Share your giving page, print a QR poster, or pair a tablet as a kiosk. Most mosques take their first donation within the hour.
The Small Donations Scheme
How much GASDS is your mosque leaving unclaimed?
HMRC pays a 25% top-up on cash and small contactless donations — no Gift Aid declarations needed. Most mosques claim none of it.
Friday buckets, donation boxes, event collections — small cash gifts of £30 or less.
Taps of £30 or less. These qualify when taken on a card-present reader.
You could be leaving
£2,000
unclaimed every year in GASDS top-ups on cash alone
You've hit the £8,000 annual cap — multi-site mosques can claim up to £8,000 per qualifying community building.
Estimates assume 52 collection weeks and the standard 25% GASDS rate on eligible small donations up to the £8,000 annual cap. Claims must be matched at 10:1 against your Gift Aid claims and made within two years — read our GASDS guide for the full rules.
The product
The money layer your committee has been improvising
Not another kiosk. A complete giving back office — built around the way mosques actually raise money. This is the dashboard your treasurer opens on a Friday afternoon.
Hosted giving pages
A beautiful barakahpay.co.uk/your-mosque page with campaigns, live thermometers and Apple & Google Pay — no mosque website required. Arabic, Urdu and Bengali built in.
Gift Aid engine
Compliant declarations captured at every channel, returning donors recognised automatically, eligibility flagged per fund, and one-click HMRC-format claim schedules.
GASDS, finally claimed
A dead-simple cash collection logger, automatic small-donation tagging, per-building caps and 10:1 matching enforced — with an “unclaimed £X” figure on your dashboard.
Kiosk mode on any tablet
Turn a £100 tablet into a donation kiosk in minutes. Attract loop, 30-second quick donate, offline-resilient, with heartbeat alerts if a device goes down before Jummah.
Ramadan automation
Donors schedule the last ten nights once — equal split, odd nights, or 27th-night weighted — and giving lands between Maghrib and Fajr automatically.
Data freedom
Your donor and Gift Aid records belong to your mosque. Full CSV export of everything, at any time, guaranteed in our terms. Leave whenever you like — we’d rather earn the renewal.
Built on trust
We never hold your money
Every donation is processed by Stripe and settles directly into your mosque's own bank account. BarakahPay is software — not a middleman between your donors and your charity.
- Your mosque is the merchant of record. Funds go straight to your account on Stripe's standard payout schedule.
- Transparent fees, shown to donors before they pay. Card processing from 1.2% + 20p at Stripe's registered-charity rate — we take nothing from donations.
- Full data export at all times, guaranteed in our terms. Your donor and Gift Aid records are yours, not ours.
What a £10 donation actually does
- Donor gives
- £10.00
- Card processing (1.2% + 20p)
- −£0.32
- Your mosque receives
- £9.68
- Gift Aid claimed on the full £10
- +£2.50
- Total to your mosque
- £12.18
Most donors choose to cover the card fee when asked — in which case your mosque keeps the full £10, and Gift Aid is claimed on the gross amount. Fee illustration uses Stripe's UK registered-charity rate; standard rate 1.5% + 20p.
Ready when your committee is
Free up to £2,000 raised per year. No demo call required — though we're happy to walk your trustees through it.
